In 2014 and 2015, West Point acquired all of the undeveloped residential parcels in the Mauna Kea Resort, totaling 69 acres. After working with the resort and the County of Hawaii for nearly 5 years, these properties are nearing completion of all entitlements, road construction and utility installation to create the largest resort land opportunity in the State of Hawaii. Construction has commenced on the first three homes and the Amenity Center for this new community of 166 homes and condominiums. The Hapuna Estates sets a new standard of excellence within the iconic Mauna Kea Resort. Land opportunities include bulk parcels for developers, as well as individual homesites to build one dream home.
The Hapuna Estates include a collection of parcels on which single- and multi-family residences can be developed. All parcels are fully entitled, and infrastructure (the main roadways) is complete. There are four significant parcels available for developers with their own visions for these remarkable sites. These are the highest properties at the Mauna Kea Resort and the views from the mountains along the Kohala Coast all the way to Maui are extraordinary.

The first 11 of 33 estate homesites are currently being offered in the uplands above the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach Resorts and range from approximately one to two acres. Each offers exceptional 360-degree views, from the snow-capped Mauna Kea to Maui. The Hapuna Estates are set along Arnold Palmer’s Hapuna Golf Course.
